We are delighted to welcome you to Open Office Day 2024. Paddiruppu Education Zone opened its doors to all school academic staff (paddiruppu zone) on Tuesday, January 30th, and Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, for the Open Office Day! The PZEOk has declared two days as open office days for teachers to address and resolve issues related to educational administration, promotions, and salaries. Almost 345 teachers were given immediate solutions to their issues.

A progress review meeting - 2023 was held by the Provincial Department of Education, Eastern province on 16.01.2024 at Paddirippu education zone.
The meeting was attended by the Provincial Director of Education, Additional Provincial Director of Education, Zonal Director of Education, Deputy Directors of Education, Assistant Directors of Education, Coordinators, In-Service Advisors, and principals of schools. In particular, a detailed discussion was held with the school community in the Paddiruppu education zone regarding the achievement levels of the students who are going to sit the G.C.E (O/L) examination in this year (2024).

The event marking for the commencement of the work for the year of 2024 was held on 1st of January 2024, Monday at 8.30 am at the Paddiruppu Education Zone, presided by the Zonal Director of Education Mr.S.Sritharan.

in this event, the Zonal Director of Education, Deputy Directors of Education, Coordinators, ISAs, academic, and non-academic staff from the premises of the Paddiruppu Education Zone participated. The National flag, Provincial flag, and Zonal flag were hoisted by the Zonal Director of Education and Deputy Directors of Education, respectively and the National Anthem was also played. Following it, oath was taken for the commencement of the public service for the year 2024 by all the officers with the direction of Zonal Director of Education. After that, all the staff gathered in the main hall and there was a special speech by the Zonal Director of Education. finally the colorful cultural events were conducted by the officers.
